Lath and plaster is a technique which was used to finish interior walls and ceilings from the early-18th until the early-to-mid-20th century. It was then superseded by drywall techniques and plasterboard.

However still to this day tradesman, DIY Home Owners will still favour the traditional method particularly when working on Grade 1 and 2 listed Buildings.

Worksop Woodmill offers Plastering Laths in both Larch and Oak these are supplied in 1 Meter Lengths and measure 25mm – 8mm (These measurements can vary in each dimension by 2 – 3 mm)

It seems only fitting that work done to restore and repair period buildings should be done using sustainable British timber From a British sawmill.
